  13. The Desktop Helper is a Windows 3.0 Desktop utility that provides
  14. capabilities missing from Microsoft's Program Manager while also
  15. providing the more important capabilities of the Task Manager.  These
  16. capabilities include:

  18.         -convenient pop-up menu at the click of a button
  19.  
  20.         -configurable launch list
  21.  
  22.         -switch to or terminate a task event if it is not
  23.          currently visible
  24.  
  25.         -browse a pop-up file selector to choose a file to run
  26.

  28. The contents of this package are:
  29.  
  30.         READ.ME -the file you are currently reading
  31.         DH.WRI  -installation & use documentation (WRITE compatible)
  32.         DH.INI  -initialization file
  33.         DH.EXE  -The Desktop Helper program
  34.  
  35.  
  36. The Desktop Helper is distributed as shareware.  The Desktop Helper
  37. may be freely copied and distributed for evaluation as long as the
  38. following rules are followed:
  39.  
  40.         1.  The program and the documentation READ.ME and DH.WRI) are
  41.             not modified in any way, shape, or form.
  42.  
  43.         2.  A copy of READ.ME, DH.WRI, DH.INI, and DH.EXE are provided
  44.             with each copy of the program.
  45.  
  46.         3.  No charge, other than a media and handling charge (not to
  47.             exceed $5.00), is made.
  48.  
  49.         4.  A user may use the program for 30 days before paying the
  50.             registration fee.  If the program is used after the 30
  51.             day evaluation period, an obligation to register and pay
  52.             the registration fee is incurred.
  53.  
  54.             If at the end of this trial period you do not feel that
  55.             this program is worth the registration fee then you are
  56.             obligated to discontinue the usage of The Desktop Helper.

  58. The registration fee for The Desktop Helper is $10 (US Dollars).
  59. Payment of this fee entitles you to technical support via electronic
  60. mail (EMAIL).  See the DH.WRI for further details.
